The HELITRONIC MINI PLUS with C.O.R.E. technology is a modern tool grinding machine for flexible production and regrinding of small and medium-sized tools. Thanks to several different loading systems and efficiency options, the machine can be configured for both current and future production needs. The compact design also ensures optimal utilization of the production space.
One of the new features of the HELITRONIC MINI PLUS is the possibility to equip the machine with the option Laser Contour Check, an innovative and intelligent measuring system integrated directly into the tool grinding and erosion machine. The system enables highly accurate, non-contact measurement of various tool parameters on cylindrical tools.
The machine is equipped with a powerful belt-driven spindle with two spindle ends, which can be fitted with up to six grinding wheels and has a maximum peak power of 9 kW. In this configuration, the HELITRONIC MINI PLUS can produce both complex and standardized tool geometries economically in medium-sized batches. The different grinding wheel packages are connected to the respective spindle together with all necessary data, contributing to an efficient and safe process.
For machines with a grinding wheel changer, there is also an option for increased torque. With this option, the torque and thus the cutting capacity of the spindle increases by around 60% compared to the standard version, at a maximum speed of 7,800 rpm. This makes it possible to machine tools with diameters up to 25 mm, without changing the dimensions of the grinding wheel package.
The HELITRONIC MINI PLUS can also be equipped with a 6-place automatic grinding wheel changer. This solution is compact, affordable and flexible, with capacity for up to 6 grinding wheel packs with 3 grinding wheels in each. The maximum grinding wheel diameter is 152.4 mm. The coolant supply and grinding wheel pack are integrated in one unit, ensuring safe changes and optimal cooling.
For increased automation, there is also a robot loading system that improves access to the workpieces and enables specialized applications. Automatic teaching provides short set-up times, and depending on the workpiece type or diameter, the robot can load up to 7,500 workpieces. Maximum workpiece weight is 5 kg and maximum workpiece diameter is 125 mm.
Additional automation options include Top Loader, a space-saving and cost-effective solution that is integrated directly into the machine. Here too, automatic teaching contributes to short set-up times, and depending on the tool diameter, the system can handle up to 500 tools.
