HELITRONIC POWER 400 with C.O.R.E. technology is a powerful tool grinder that combines high performance with maximum flexibility for medium to large series. The tool grinder has three linear axes, X, Y and Z, equipped with ball screws. The maximum feed rate is 15 m/min, which contributes to an efficient and productive machining process.
An optional 4 or 8 position grinding wheel changer is available. This solution accommodates up to 8 grinding wheel adapters and thus significantly increases the grinding wheel capacity of the HELITRONIC POWER 400, providing greater flexibility in production and reducing the need for manual changes.
The machine can also be equipped with a powerful direct-drive motor spindle with a spindle end. This optional spindle is liquid cooled and has a spindle power of 26 kW, making it well suited for demanding applications with high performance requirements.
The belt-driven spindle with two spindle ends also offers high capacity and flexibility. It can handle up to 3 electrodes or 6 grinding wheels with a maximum diameter of 254 mm and has a maximum peak power of 24 kW. This makes it possible to machine a wide range of tools with high efficiency.
HELITRONIC POWER 400 can also be equipped with Laser Contour Check, a new and innovative measuring system integrated directly into the tool grinding and erosion machine. The system enables highly accurate, non-contact measurement of various tool parameters on cylindrical tools, strengthening both quality control and process stability.
