HELITRONIC RAPID is a tool grinding machine with C.O.R.E. technology and 5 CNC-controlled axes, specially developed for regrinding and production of milling cutters, drills, step drills, step tools, woodworking tools, profile knives and profile tools.
The machine handles diameters from 1 to 16 mm in production and from 3 to 100 mm in regrinding. It can handle a machining length of up to 255 mm and a maximum unit weight of 30 kg. Optional glass scales, an automatic and highly accurate position measuring system for all linear axes are also available. For additional performance, the machine can be equipped with a fast-rotating A-axis with torque motor, adjustable from 0 to 1,000 rpm.
