In order to meet varying production requirements and flexible technological applications, BLOHM has developed the new machine as a machine series. The comprehensive range of accessories, combined with the modular system of the PLANOMAT XT (sizes from 400 × 800 to 600 × 2000 mm), makes this new generation the ideal grinding machine for all customers.
In addition to high-quality machine elements such as ground ball screws, optimized ductile iron, and precise linear guides, this generation offers the ability to visualize views for coolants, status, and process monitoring in accordance with Industry 4.0.
The PLANOMAT XT combines several technologies in one machine: it can be used for longitudinal/transverse grinding and deep grinding, as well as rapid pendulum grinding with the optional linear direct drive (LDA) in the X-axis.
