The comprehensive range of accessories, combined with the modular PROFIMAT XT system (sizes from 400 × 800 to 600 × 2000 mm), makes this new generation the optimal grinding machine for all customers.
In addition to high-quality machine elements such as ground ball screw drives, optimized ductile iron, and precise linear guides, this generation offers the operator a completely new user interface. The three-part control panel now has customizable display areas. The information relevant to the current work steps can be programmed and retrieved specifically for each customer. The possibilities range from component diagrams, 3D models, user manuals, and electrical diagrams to GripsProfile, Blohm's proprietary programming system for profiling grinding wheels. This area also offers the option of displaying views for coolants, status, and process monitoring in accordance with the Industry 4.0 concept.
