Unique machine concept
Horizontal spindle position
The horizontal spindle position enables the longest possible Z-axis travel and optimal chip removal.
Maximum stability
The unique arrangement of the three linear axes minimizes the distance between the guide rails and the point of contact (TCP), giving the machine considerable stability.
Tunnel design
The tunnel design allows the largest possible components to be turned and machined—even with extremely long tools—within the working area without collision.
Large turning radius
Three linear and two rotary axes enable 5-sided machining, 5-axis simultaneous interpolation, and GROB TRAORI turning. With a swivel range of 230 degrees in the A-axis and 360 degrees in the B-axis, these machines offer maximum positioning flexibility.
