Single spindle version - UNIVERTOR AC-1
The AC-1 series machines are highly flexible and particularly suitable for complete machining of varying batch sizes where quality requirements are high. The fact that the machine is available in right-hand or left-hand versions makes it easy to adapt it to the production flow.
Highly productive simultaneous machining in a single machine, with up to two powerful disk rotors (4 axes) or multiple grinding spindles, enables smart process engineering arrangements with great savings potential and at the same time highly precise results.
Design advantages - UNIVERTOR AC-1
- Left and right versions available
- Machine columns with very good stiffness and optimized damping (including via residual molding sand in the mold)
- High accuracy class linear guides with preload in all axes
- Guides and feed drives located outside the work area for protection against chips
- Direct length measurement systems in all machining axes (glass scales)
- High dynamics in all axes
- Optimized downward chip fall
- Self-made lathe spindles with very good concentricity and axial precision
- Easy spindle assembly and disassembly when servicing or repairing
- Compact footprint thanks to integrated handling unit (2-axis version with swivel unit)
- Main spindle A6 according to DIN 55026
- Tool turret with VDI or Capto interface
Optional - AC-1
- Integrated measuring probe
- Powered tools (for example for drilling)
- 4-axis machining (via additional turret on cross slide unit)
- Extra internal grinding unit
- Extra external grinding unit
- Combined turning and grinding in minimal space
- Extra drilling unit
- Additional Y-A axis unit with milling spindle for gear machining, for example
- Partly spatial separation of the machine halves (to some extent independent)
- Simultaneous or step-by-step machining possible (including the possibility of turning workpieces)
- Several automation variants possible
Version with two spindles - UNIVERTOR AC-2
With the two-spindle UNIVERTOR AC-2, two workpieces can be machined simultaneously, or one workpiece can be machined in two clamps. The machine has the same modularity and flexibility as the AC-1. Through technology integration of processes such as turning, hard turning, grinding, drilling and milling, internal logistics steps can be significantly reduced, while achieving high precision.
Design advantages - UNIVERTOR AC-2
Benefits and options are virtually identical to the AC-1, but with two-spindle arrangement for simultaneous processing or two clamping operations in the same machine:
- Left and right versions
- Rigid and vibration-damped column construction
- High accuracy class linear gears with preload in all axes
- Goats and drifters protected outside the work area
- Direct length measurement systems (glass scales)
- High dynamics, good chip departure
- Proprietary spindles with high concentricity and axial accuracy
- Compact footprint via integrated handling unit
- A6 spindle according to DIN 55026
- VDI or Capto in revolver
